OnTheMarket’s Chas and Dave advert due to go back on TV this Christmas

The advert that even the kindest critics say is so bad that it is almost good is due to be back on TV on Boxing Day.

OnTheMarket’s ‘Chas and Dave’ advert – 30 seconds of hell or complete heaven, depending on your point of view – will go on to run through January.

OTM says it will reach 35.8m adults, who will have the opportunity to see it an average of 5.6 times.

The ads will run on ITV and C4, plus digital channels on Sky and catch-up services.

The advert will also appear on screens in gyms across the country, at the time of year when many of us dream of perfect abs and honed bodies before realising it is a lost cause.

The network of over 800 gyms includes David Lloyd, Fitness First, Nuffield Health and many more.

A national radio campaign is also planned, as is an outdoor promotion in London.

Helen Whiteley, commercial director at OTM, said: “We know that our multi-channel marketing approach is both effective in building brand awareness and efficient in generating traffic and leads so it’s very exciting to have our TV advert back on screens from Boxing Day when online property searches start to peak.

“This will help generate maximum exposure and value for our estate and letting agent shareholders and customers.”

The adverts will all promote OTM’s ‘new and exclusive’ feature.

Rightmove has yet to announce its Christmas and New Year advertising campaign, as has Zoopla.
