Utilities & Data Sharing Notice
At the start of a tenancy, tenant details may be shared with One Utility Bill Limited (“One Utility Bill” or “OUB”), David Daniels, and the incumbent energy supplier for the purpose of setting up and registering utility services at the property.
Gas and electricity (where applicable) will be supplied, or be in the process of being supplied, by the incumbent energy supplier already serving the property. Details of the incumbent supplier will be communicated to tenants directly by One Utility Bill via phone and/or email.
Tenants are not tied into a contract with the incumbent energy supplier and remain free to choose and switch to any alternative supplier available to them at any time.
By entering into a tenancy, the tenant acknowledges and agrees that David Daniels may share the tenant’s name, telephone number, and email address with One Utility Bill for the following purposes:
The incumbent water supplier and/or the relevant local authority may contact the tenant directly to provide information about their services and to establish any necessary agreements.
David Daniels will process personal data only as necessary and, where applicable, on behalf of One Utility Bill. One Utility Bill will use tenant information solely for the purposes outlined above and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Both David Daniels and One Utility Bill comply with their respective obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, will not be retained for longer than necessary, and will be handled in accordance with One Utility Bill’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice, and Data Retention Policy, which are available on the One Utility Bill website.
Referral Fee Disclosure
David Daniels may receive a referral commission from One Utility Bill for introducing tenants to their service. This commission can range from £0 up to £18 per tenancy and does not affect the tenant’s ability to choose or switch utility providers.
